Each
of our suppliers has an ethical or fair trade story. We carefully
select suppliers from all over the world, who only trade fairly and
help to develop disadvantaged communities or improve the world we live
in.We search far and wide to bring you products from countries including: NepalUganda

We
believe in honesty, and will always tell you what our products are made
of and if they are recycled, ethical, fairly traded or all three.We
also know value is important to our customers, and so spend many an
hour sourcing the best priced products and components. This means we
can offer you, our valued customers, products that make our world a nicer
place to live in, at great prices.Our Recycled Paper Beads
Our beads are made by a group of women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Uganda. They are made using Recycled Magazines, which are rolled around sticks before being left to dry. The selling of beads are a vital part of their income and of course we pay a fair price for them and the premium they make helps support their local community.
Our Tissue Paper
Our tissue paper is Fairly Traded from Nepal. It is handmade by a small cooperative in Nepal. The cooperative is able to support a school for refugee children in the community.Our Fabric Squares
These are Fairly Traded from India and are recycled offcuts from the textile industry.

BAFTSWe have been running a sister company called EthicalPartyBags (www.ethicalpartybags.com) for a number of years. It is an approved BAFTS (the British Association for Fair Trade Shops) retailer.The
prestigious BAFTS award is only given to ethical companies who can meet
a strict set of criteria. At least 70% of the products the company
sells must be from BAFTS approved suppliers and any other suppliers
must meet certain BAFTS standards.
